Scandal on the Track: Rally Driver Disqualified for Misconduct Towards Female Official

Rally driver disqualified after making ‘sexually inappropriate’ gestures to female scrutineer

Robert Kolcak, a driver in the European Rally Championship, was disqualified from an event for making inappropriate gestures and comments towards a female scrutineer during a safety inspection.

The incident occurred after the stop control of special stage six of the Royal Rally of Scandinavia.

Kolcak, last year’s Slovakian Rally2 champion, driving for the Chooligan Racing Team, was reported by the Clerk of the Course for his offensive words and actions.

Kolcak confirmed his comments during a hearing, attributing them to adrenaline and misunderstanding the woman’s role.

The stewards emphasized the seriousness of the incident and the importance of a respectful environment for event officials.

Kolcak was ultimately disqualified for his behavior, despite attempting to explain it as a joke in a social media post.
